Modeling career

Early work

Justė Juozapaitytė started her modeling career in 2007 after Miss Lithuania 2007 contest. Her first contract was with modeling agency Modilinos.[6] She worked in Thailand, China, Vietnam and Hong Kong.[5][6] She appeared in commercials for Nike and Lynx.[7]

Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model

In 2011 Juozapaitytė participated in Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model, Cycle 7. From the early stages of the competition, with her boyish look, Juozapaitytė proved to be a contender for the title, gaining second call out in the first episode. In episode 7, Juozapaitytė won a catwalk challenge, and gained a first call out in episodes 11, and 12. She found great favour with clients, and judges, but lost out in episode 13, when Jade Thompson was declared the winner.

Juozapaitytė has since been critical of the show, suggesting that she may have lost based on her Lithuanian roots. She suggested that after Maltese winner, Tiffany Pisani, another non-British winner would have caused 'an outcry if a non-British or Irish model took the prize for a second year running.’ However, she conceded that 'Jade is much more commercial than me...she'll sell things. She's different - everybody liked her because she was so unique.[1]

Post-show work

Since the show, Juozapaitytė has taken more test shots, and continues to update fans concerning her career.[8] She also appeared in the video for the single "Starlight" by English singer-songwriter, Matt Cardle.[9] In 2011 December Justė modeled for new Amy Hall collection.
